18. Tea and Kitties *Featuring: Bricolage, :FNY: Design's, and [Erfe Arch& Design]*

 

So I kind of took a week long off from doing some kind of blogging. I really had to let my creative side come out of me, and I really just wanted to..do basically nothing but Netflix and Chill in real life last week.

Something this morning just kinda came to me in my mind, and I was slowly starting to put this set together. I've noticed that my blogs haven't been as detailed with decor as others, but then I have to remember I am still somewhat new at blogging decor. So I grabbed a few things from{moss&mink}, Bricolage, :FNY: Design's, Dust Bunny, and [Erfe Arch & Design] and just kind of let me creativity come out on this one. I really loved how I was able to pull the reds from different creators, and was able to come out with this beautiful room.

17. Lemons are for Lemonade *Featuring :FNY: Designs

 

Everyone who knows me, knows that lately I have had an obsession with anything out door and decor. I dont know why it only look me 14 years to get it, but I do. So when I was looking at :FNY: and saw all this, I just knew I had to put something together, and welp, in my head I knew exactly where I wanted it on my land, and exactly how I wanted it all to come together.

I fell in love with this small lemon garden set. It comes with the chairs, table, table decor, and the lemon tree! I wanted to add more to it, so on the table, not only is the demon decor part of it, but I also added :FNY:'s vintage fruit plate, stacked plated, and apple cores. I thought that this added a unique touch on something that I know people would love. Lastly, the animesh butterfly cluster. You can either rezz them to the ground like I did, and have options of them flying, landing, wandering, and also following. OR you can add them to yourself (make sure you hit add, and not wear!) and they will follow and mimic what your avi does inworld. 
I thought that putting these 3 little pieces together really made a late spring/summer vibe that I wanted, plus it gives my greenhouse area on the land just something a little extra to look at and have.

16. Monday Feels *Featuring: Erfe Arch & Design, imegica, and Bloom!*

 

It's Monday, and that means an entire new work week, but that also means new events are starting this week inworld. Erfe Design's has come out with this beautiful Moscow Living Room set, that you can get now until the 1st of February, at this round of Cosmopolitan. I love how sleek and classy it looks, and it even comes with the curtains, which for me, is a plus because sometimes finding curtains that match sets...can be frustrating.

imegica also has something out this round of Cosmopolitan. They have out the beautiful Arden leaves and candles. I paired the candles together on the end of the Erfe Designs couch, as I think it gives the couch just that special touch of something I felt that it was missing for my taste. the Tall and shorter Arden leave plants give this piece just that touch of color with the gold planters, and the green leaves. It's sleek planter designs also gives it the vibe to go together.

But everyone knows this country girl, and I will find a way to pop something country vibing in almost everything I do. See the table there in the middle of the room? Had to pop in the Bloom! Farmhouse Tier on the table, because well...have a throw in a little country flare somewhere, if you know what I mean.

15. Relax and Enjoy

 

Man, between a blizzard last week, and these really cold temps now...we are talking like -40 degree windchills, and me getting smacked with the flu or something, this past weekend was something. Friday all of my kids in rl, had snow days or E-learning days. Then Saturday I woke up feeling fine, and by the end of the day, felt like I got ran over by a semi truck. On top of all of this, Jasper and I moved to a 1/4 sim so it's been something else this past weekend. But honestly, even with being sick, I wouldn't want it any other way....even though I haven't been to work in RL since Thursday.

I was so excited, when I logged on though, and saw that I got some more new decor sponsors! Excited actually, because I finally think that I found my calling, and what I'm good at. So I had to grab a few things from my sponsors right away to blog, because among the chaos I had this weekend, blogging is something that I actually did miss the most. I actually loved how this turned out, and somehow I was able to give it the 'Kissy Country Touch' that everyone says I kinda give most of my blog posts.

14. Puppy Days

 

Anyone else love just how simple this is? It reminds me of the 'dog days of summer' so to speak out in the country. Just kinda my thing. I am loving this day bed and console from Serenity Style. She has just the touch of country style to it, without over doing it, and it blends in together so nicely as well. I was looking in my inventory because I have pets galore (I really need to invest into stock for Rezz Room) but figured I'd pull out my trusty Dalmatian...okay I have a soft spot for them. These were the dogs I had as a child growing up in real life, and its just who I am. And who cannot have a puppy on the bed with its ball and chew toys. I think that just adds the perfect touch to it. Super Cute, Super Simple, but definitely Super Country. ♥

13. A Musician's Home *Featuring: [Erfe Design], ONF, and Bloom!*

 

When I saw this living room set from [Erfe Design] I knew exactly what I wanted to pair around it in the room. The set gave me a vibe of a musician, hence the Saxophone and Cello in the room. I had to pair it with the fireplace from [Erfe Design] as I felt like everything totally went together, and it gave it that pow it kinda needed. And what food is musical instruments, if you don't have the music for it? Well thats simple, ONF has a dresser that the drawers open and close, and color customizable, so why not have the music coming out of the drawer? I felt it gave it something special that really those like myself who were big with music growing up would get. 

I felt like there was something that was still needed to complete the look of this room, and thats when I came across the Sera Vases from Bloom! and that's when I knew that this room has just become next level musician's room. The wall decor that came with the set from [Erfe Desings] I fell in love with, and even started to play with it some. You can in fact, if wanted, make the two frames invisible, and just keep the dark wood wall accent, and make it completely into an accent wall. I loved that idea, and it just gives the room more depth if it was something you were looking towards doing.

12. A Night Out Without My MR. *Featuring: LsR Originals*

 

It's a Wednesday night, that means a night online without Jasper. Meaning a night out without my Mr, and just me and the girlies. Of course I'm going to wear something that grabs the attention of people, but I also know my limit when it comes to that. I'm not the girl who will just throw myself out there and show off everything. I do hold myself to standards, which I know some don't even care for that, but well, it is Secondlife, so to each their own on that.

This is the LsR Violet Suit, which you can find at this round of Cosmopolitan. With the top/skirt. It also has sandals and socks, which is sold separately, as well as the big fatpack. Hud has 60 colors and textures, and its rigged for Lara X, Legacy, Reborn, and GenX.

11. Garden of Peace *Featuring: HISA*

For those that know me, know I love peace, quiet, tranquility, and all that sorts of things. I am so not a country girl, and NOT the big city girl haha. So, when I saw that HISA had this Potter's Cottage I just knew it was something that I had to show off. It gives off that rustic look, and the living room is all made up if recycled windows, which I thought was SUPER cool. It is a small one bedroom cottage, but it is perfect for that little get away, or a parents suit....do people do that in SL? But anyways, you get my drift here.

Of course I had to throw in my touch of making it more country like. With my farmhouse decor that I raided hive to get, some hay, or of course, why not a tractor, and my Teegle horse. Bring some friends over for a BBQ on the small patio that the cottage has, or you can make a fire, make some smores and drink some beers. The options for you, are really priceless with what you can do with this.

I of course, had to pair the house with the Summer Grass in mixed colors, also by HISA. Everything about this creator makes it so easy to just make things go together. I made the grass come up through the wooden deck slightly, to give it that older feeling vibe. And of course, from an earlier post, I pulled out those vines that HISA made, as that gave everything the finishing touch, and just pulled everything together in the end for this amazing look.

As I was TPing around this morning before I had off to what we call that real life work place, I can across this furniture and decor place, and figured, why not reach out to them, to see if I could blog for them. And I got home from work today, and boom, welcome to the blogging team! Score! I am super excited for this!

09. A Sunday Afternoon *Featuring: OHNORTH FURNISHINGS*

 

I'm not going to lie. I love challenges, and well this one was one of them. I came across this new furniture store OhNorth Furnishings (A huge thank you to my girl Jeana!) and I was trying to figure out what to blog for them. Then I saw the couch, but I was thinking to myself, I have nothing to really pair with that to make an entire room. I went up to my platform, and just starting rezzing out a million different things, and within a span of like 20 minutes, this is the room I came out with, and to be honest, this is one of my all time favorite rooms I have ever put together, let alone ever blogged. 

The OHF Sweet Bento Sofa (middle) is actually a new favorite. 08. The Men's Zone

 

So when I took down the all Christmas decor inside the house, I wanted to make a space for Jasper that wouldn't feel so....'girly' for him. Jasper does a ton for me, and I wanted to make him a space that was just for him. It took me most of last Saturday to accomplish this, as I checked the sales, and looked all at what I had already in my mess of an inventory. After hours of inventory and inworld shopping, this is what I put together for him, and when he finally was able to log in last weekend....because RL sometimes can be a PITA, he ended up not only pretty surprised, but he loved it as well. Think I kinda out did myself on this one. As one side of our bedroom is my girly blogging stuff, and this is what is on the other side, everything just for him.

07. Home is Where The Heart Is *FEATURING-HISA*

 

So I'm not going to lie. When it comes to houses, and land I am kinda a sucker for them. I love how I can place a house, and just the house changes the vibe of the land. Those that know me, know I am a huge country girl, but there are times where I just want a modern look for a while. Well, once again, the country house and vibe is back, and as always, it's in full swing.

This is the Misty Creek Cabin, by Hisa. I love the huge front porch, that is slightly to the side. There are two bedrooms, one downstairs, and one upstairs, and a sitting room upstairs (I have that as a bedroom, so I can make it a 2 bedroom, 2 bath if I wanted.) The bathroom downstairs is small, but it is functional. There is a seperate living and dining/kitchen as well if you so choose. I paired the cabin up with Hisa's hanging vines, because I felt like you can really add something extra with the vine's and give it more of that country vibe that I was going for. For trees' I also paired up the Hisa Beech trees, as I felt like it just pulled the entire thing together.
